About PWP & PWP Forums
PWP is an organization dedicated to supporting professional and aspiring professional photographers through our online community, live seminars, networking events, and other resources. Our photographers are committed to growth in their skills, their craft, their businesses. It's not about what the photographer has achieved in the past (although that's important, too). It's about where the photographer is going and how he or she is getting there. In other words, it's not the destination - it's the journey. PWP photographers are committed to that journey; they network with fellow professionals, they attend seminars, they teach seminars, they compete among themselves and with other professionals.
Currently PWP hosts a message board with 1500 working professional photographer members and a number of industry vendors and supporters. Our membership spans the globe, from New York to Perth, Australia and everywhere in between.
We offer seminars at all levels for professional and aspiring photographers led by leaders in the industry, scheduled all over the United States and Internationally.
We host networking events from coast to coast.
Open Forum membership is free to those who register. Members have access to a limited number of discussion forums, plus PWP's educational resources, seminar and job postings. Members can also participate in the quarterly Image Contests.
Membership in the Professional Forums area of PWP is $60 per year and gives full access to all the forums and the professional contests, as well as discounts to PWP seminars and events. Studios with multiple employees and husband/wife photography teams are eligible for a discount on up to three additional Professional memberships at $45 each, once the full-price membership has been validated.
If you are interested in becoming a PWP member, register to participate on the board. A professional website or other proof of professional status is required for membership.
